Our 2016 Talent Tomato sale was a huge success and we sold out of plants after only a couple of hours. So, if you want to be sure and get your special Talent Tomato plants for May 13 & 14, 2017, we are now taking prepaid orders. Don't miss out!!!
In the 1960's, Talent farmer, Clarence Holdridge, was inspecting his large field of Medford tomatoes when he noticed that one plant stood out from the rest as more vigorous with larger fruit. Its seeds were saved, and it became known as the Talent tomato. We are now happy to offer this unique, heirloom tomato for sale. The red, medium size fruit is meaty and flavorful, and you will enjoy an early and long harvest with this indeterminate type of tomato. The strong, sturdy plant, in a 4" pot, is ready to pop into your garden and begin growing luscious tomatoes to be enjoyed all summer long. The plants are being grown for us by Greenleaf Industries in Grants Pass. Plants must be picked up at the Museum at 105 N. Market St., Talent. Prepaid orders are being accepted for our May 13 & 14, 2017 event. No shipping is available. Don't miss out on this opportunity to support the Talent Historical Society while enjoying a tasty tomato next summer!!
